The world’s population is set to pass seven billion by the end of next year, and that’s just too many for this little world. I’m not saying people shouldn’t have kids, just that they need to stop at two of them. When they reach that point, we could ask people to just say no when it comes to more sex, but that isn’t going to work unless human nature changes. The most thing we can do is to ask people to put something between them when they do it. You know what I’m talking about: condoms. They’re cheap, easy to use, and effective, and now with the Internet you don’t have to buy them face-to-face with a drugstore clerk anymore; just check out The Condom Connection and see for yourself. So, after you’ve brought your second one into the world, put a little less pressure on the world’s resources and put on one of these, okay?

Obama better look out—he’s got competition for his office now. Just when he thought he got rid of one Clinton rival, now he’s the old one upstaging him. If he doesn’t take a little more control of things, he’s going to find out he doesn’t own his own foreign policy. I’ll bet he doesn’t even know what Clinton promised the North Koreans for the release of those two hostages. But I bet his Secretary of State knows. Haha.

I see on the news where the Taliban is back firing rockets into Kabul again. I don’t think we’ll ever see the 700 Club or any other Christian group doing the same on Washington (no matter how mad the nitwits in Congress might make them).

Now we’ve got a Nigerian Taliban wanting to overthrow the government, install shari’a law, and ban “Western” education. They don’t want their children learning things like rain comes from water evaporating in sunlight and then condensing again, or that the Earth is a sphere. These things aren’t what “Allah says.” Do we really need more evidence of what crackpots these dangerous religious fanatics are? Sure, I can hear the leftwing loonies saying, “But rightwing Christian fanatics don’t believe in Darwinism,” but is putting forward a plausible theory such as Intelligent Design the same thing as saying all education is bad? I don’t think so. You can disagree with Darwinism and still be for quality education. And you can believe in God’s Word and still accept the rule of secular law.

Obama seems to think he smooth things over and make it all right by inviting Prof. Gates and Sgt. Crowley to the White House for an afternoon beer. And maybe he could have made things right between the two of them if he could have convinced the prof to apologize for his intemperate words. I’m sure Sgt. Crowley would have accepted an apology and offered his hand in friendship, after all, good relations between the races is important to him. But unfortunately the President seems to have been incapable moderating his friend’s attitude. Still, the two men have been talking in private, and maybe they can settle what there is between them. I’m not sure a beer with the prez is gonna be much help in that, however. But one thing I am sure of is Obama hasn’t smoothed over the national irritation with the way he’s handled this thing.

How can anyone say Islam is a religion of peace? Sure, there are crazies that can get invovled with any religious group, but nothing churns them out like Islam. The apologists like to say the word means peace, but it doesn’t: it means surrender, as in, “When you surrender to me, we’ll have peace.” It’s not a coincidence the Islamic world has a problem with all their neighbors; they don’t even get along with each other.

I’d be willing to let go of the past if there were any groups of Muslims out there decrying the murderous radicals, but there aren’t. And you know why? Because they’re all scared; they know if they speak out against the jihadists, they’ll wake up dead one day. What the Muslims need is their own Martin Luther; someone to start up a good Muslim Reformation. They need to take care of their own house, but unless and until that day comes, the rest of the world will just have to do it for them.

Stonewalling Dems

The democrats are just stonewalling the whole birth certificate issue. They go around acting like everything is cleared up, but never actually produce any evidence. I guess they figure he’s safe on the basis of lack of evidence, but isn’t it up to him to prove he’s a natural-born citizen when he’s challenged on it? Apparently not. Apparently the burden of proof requires proving a negative: that Obama wasn’t born in the US. Of course, negatives are legendarily hard to prove. I suppose someone could find a birth certificate for Obama from somewhere else, but where he was born, they don’t even have records. A simple law could render this whole thing moot: require all candidates to file a copy of their birth certificate in order to run for president. After all, the requirement is in the Constitution itself, and it shouldn’t be hard for any actually-qualified candidate to meet it. But no, all we get is a stonewall.

His “science czar” (what’s that all about?) sounds like a Nazi, wanting to do forced abortions and sterilizations, and his “green jobs czar” is a communist who hates capitalism. What kind of jobs is he gonna create? It’s like the man just won’t quit in his determination to wreck this great nation of ours.

If Sarah constitutes a threat to all those pandering, pusillanimous Republicans tiptoeing to the left, then maybe they need a little threatening! So all I have to say is, You go, girls! Here’s a guy who’s laying out the Obama numbers, and we ain’t talking ’bout a few $500 hammers here, either. He doesn’t say just how long it would take to spend a trillion dollars if you spent it at the rate of one million a day, so I did the math. You ready for this? 2740 years! The Feds did it in 6 months—and we’re just talking about the deficit they racked up in that time, not the actual budget they spent too! Whew! Sometime, somewhere, something’s gonna give, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t wanna be under it when the bubble bursts.
